I have had a basic comfy skirt for 13yrs now and I still love it.
I only had the one.
But after contemplating it for a while, I decided to do it.
I went ahead and got two of these fitted comfy skirts.
And now I’ve completely abandoned my jeans.
No more pants at all for me, actually.
I’ll be living in these skirts from now on.
Good bye jeans forever.
I don’t think I’ll even miss you.
Such a fantastic addition to my wardrobe! This is definitely a piece that I now wear all the time because it's so easy to pair with lots of options! The pocket is so useful too!!!!
This skirt fits perfectly! It hugs my curves without being to tight. The fabric is soft and comfortable. The consturction is unrivaled. I love that I can wear this skirt casually or dressed up. I purchased my skirt in Smoke, which goes with just about every top I own. A definite wardrobe staple.
The best skirt ever! It's a must have. Very well made out of the most comfortable cotton fabric.
Fit, comfort, form and function make this wardrobe staple a keeper. The material is durable and still sleek. I have 3 of these comfy skirts, one of which I’ve had for 8+ years. I am a bit in-between on sizing but have found that is ok depending on the style. At 6ft and 150lbs: For the pencil skirt and minis, I’m a SM, and for longer, hip hanging skirts, I’m a MD. The business owner was very proactive and kind after a small shipping snafu on my most recent order.
I bought this skirt after giving birth and realizing none of my clothes fit; too small for maternity clothes, too big for my old wardrobe. I wanted something practical yet stylish, and with the chance to support a handmade business this skirt fit in every way. I have barely taken it off since receiving it (it arrived in my mailbox SUPER fast, in eco-conscious packaging!) and can't wait to add more expertly made pieces to my collection.
....with this skirt. There's a damn pocket in the front, which is genius. I love the fit. Snug, but the fabric is also stretchy and comfortable. I'm seriously considering making a quilt out of all my other skirts and just buying 5 more of these in other colors. x
You are hilarious!! But seriously...quilting is a great craft and can bring calmness to an anxious mind! Let us know if you need any scrap fabrics to add to your creation :)
I'm not just reviewing my latest Comfy Skirt purchase, but all the Comfy Skirts I've purchased over the past several years. I have a couple minis, several classic and fitted knee-length ones, a few older below-the-knee versions, and a couple ankle-length skirts as well. The Texture 4-way-stretch hemp fabric is magic. It holds color well and wears forever. It drapes well and covers everything: not too heavy, not too skimpy. No underwear show-through, ever. I wear mine all year, with sandals in summer and tights or leggings in winter. The signature front pouch pockets are awesome. And the colors! They're all so delicious. In fact I've been so focused on color that it took me this long to buy a Comfy in basic black. No question, my Texture skirts are the most versatile things in my wardrobe (along with jeans) and they're worth every penny. Plus I love supporting a small, creative, woman-owned business. Thanks Teresa and friends!
<p>Robin!! I love that it took you so long to buy a black one! ;) Thanks so much for sharing your 'Comfy Skirt story'. Thanks for being a wonderful, supportive customer! <3
I love the comfy skirt line! This is my newest addition because sometimes I need a little less flair but still want style and comfort. I love the cut of this skirt. I am a curvier size 10 so the medium fits close around my hips and thighs but still allows me to move freely and easily. I chose this skirt to pair with oversized shirts and sweaters to give me a streamlined shape on the bottom when I am going to professional meetings. It's a win!
I love TExture clothing! I have bought a couple of short colorful skirts in the past. I used them in Cuba 5 years ago and they are still in use. I love being able to go dancing and have my money secure without carrying a purse(not so fun to dance Salsa with) . I'm headed to Spain in a few months and was thinking a black skirt in with a little longer length would be good....
This Fitted, Comfy Skirt at knee length in black will be perfect! The fabric is always soft and comfortable. It moves with you and is easy to wash. Great on a 5'2 curvy 120-130# woman (xs)
Great travel clothing! Thanks Teresa :))
