I purchased my first one of these skirts many, many years ago at the Green Festival in Washington DC. They are super comfortable and very well made. They never go out of style and will last many years. You can't go wrong with a comfy skirt :)
I love these skirts so much! I own about 4 of them in different colors. They make me feel good when I wear them, I love the colors, and really appreciate the secret pocket. It is important to me to support small local businesses like Texture Clothing that uses organic cotton and hemp.
I bought my first comfy skirt in Portland, Oregon more than 12 years ago! Since then I’ve bought probably 10.
This past week I got one in gold and I LOVE it! Thank you thank you!!!!
It’s my second one and I absolutely love it. I’ll get a brown one when available. High quality and my 1st is still as good as the day it was given to me a few years ago!!!!
As someone who prioritizes comfort and also needs to look semi-professional, these skirts have become my uniform. I have four comfy skirts that I wear most days of the week. In winter, I pair them with leggings and leg warmers, in summer with gusset shorts underneath. I wear these to work, while camping and pretty much wherever!
I wore the same size while pregnant because the stretchy fabric is forgiving and keeps it's shape. I am about 5'6" and 145 pounds and wear a size small.
Also, Teresa is so accommodating! I mistakenly ordered a medium and she sent me a postage label and a new skirt! I love supporting her business. Thank you!!
I love my comfy skirt. The colors are vibrant. They are so comfortable, I can wear them all day. There's no need to change into pajamas when I get home! I love wearing my skirt with tights and colorful socks, they are also great with bare legs and sandals. I wear them all year long - they are great for hot days and cozy for cold days with a nice set of tights. They are a wardrobe essential that gives you a lot of flexibility on how you put together your outfit.
I've been wearing comfy skirts for years!!! They are the absolute best - comfy like the name says, look great on, wear great for travel or dressed up or down, and have a cute little pocket! i own four right now and wear them all the time :)
I found one of these knee length comfy skirts in a beautiful cocoa color about ten-fifteen years ago in my local Salvation Army and fell in love. A little hidden pocket on the belly? Beautiful hemp-y fabric that wears well, is truly comfy and doesn't stain? A skirt that makes me feel slimmer and like a cool girl? Genius!!! Luckily the Texture tag was still in the back. I looked it up and found...WOW a women owned company of friendly beautiful women I could relate to. Right away I ordered one just in case something happened to my Salvation Army skirt (you know how you fall in love with certain pieces of clothing and they are the things you'd grab in a fire?:). Now fifteen years later, I have two cocoa, natural, slate, khaki, and a lighter tannish. I honestly wear all of them in regular rotation every week to work and they still look good and I still love them. I wear them over Leggings Depot buttery soft leggings (Amazon). At 55 I still feel cool. Thank you Texture.
These skirts are my work uniform. As a new mom, I just don't want to worry about dealing with to many choices in the morning. I am a teacher and I have a set of knee length skirts for the week during the fall and spring...and a set of long skirts for the week in the winter.
I wash on the weekends and start anew the next week. I feel so comfortable and appropriate. I mix shirts, but I always know I have a staple bottom layer.
I would never want a prescribed wardrobe, but this is a god-send.
This is my second knee-length comfy and I keep wanting to replace the other things in my closet with more of these. I wear them at home, to work, and on walks & hikes. They are so comfortable, well made, and the fabric wears like iron and looks brand new after so many washings. They are generously sized and a flattering shape for my curvy figure….I tend to go with a size smaller in these than I do for the same fit in other brands. I can’t wait to add more colors to my wardrobe!
