"Can't wait to get my new skirt...I ADORE my green one. I wore it all through my pregnancy. I'm attaching a photo of me pregnant in it and also of Lucy's newborn photos. I didn't have a sling, so I used the skirt! :)"

"
In March of 07 I took a trip to visit my eldest step sister. She moved to Ft. Lauderdale, Florida to attend Interior Design School. She's around 30 years old, loves the sun, shopping, the beach, the clubs, dancing salsa with sexy latinos and drinking cocktails. I kinda knew what I was getting myself into coming from WA state I would already stand out in the crowd. I thought, what the heck, might as well make a statement! I made sure to pack both of my hemp skirts, the short ones that showed off my leg hair and my Keen sandals. I wore them almost every day and had a ton of fun being 'that girl' from the Pacific Northwest. thanks for the granola digs, I was comfy and ecofriendly my whole trip.
Here's a pic of me (in green skirt) at the Monkey Jungle. I also wore your skirts to South Beach, Miami and on Ft. Lauderdale Beach."

Teresa, It's the end of the month and I paid my rent and bills and had enough left over to buy another comfy skirt. Yay! Your website description is so funny because I really do live in these skirts and was thrilled to see your new colors. Really, I wear them days in a row! And the knit mitts I have are life savers. Both my brownstone apartment and my office are freezing and I wear these mitts every single day! BTW, I love your hoodie with the mitten pockets! I already have a new black hoodie, dang it, but just wanted you to know I love the design of yours and hope it does well! (I also love your sassy skirts and market skirts and hope they don't go away completely.... )

" I love my market skirt and my handsocks.
These are the only two photos I could find. The girls in the photo are Lady WA sailors, but we are all at a friend's house, rather then on the ship.
The second photo is me on Matia Island with my handsocks, the Lady Washington and the long boat from pirates of the carribean." ~ Beth

HELEN'S STORY :: |

" First off, let me just tell you how very much I appreciate your
clothing, and the story of how I came to wear it. Last year at the
Green Festival in Chicago I was coveting the urban mini, in
chocolate, but felt like I couldn't afford to buy it. Then, as I
was leaving the festival, I spotted a black bundle lying on the
sidewalk.
I picked it up and found that it was the urban mini, in black. I
took it home and tried it on--just my size! Back in Brooklyn, my
friend Nina fell in love with the mini, and got one for herself, in
chocolate. She got me one too, as a Christmas/birthday present.
So now I have one in black and one in chocolate, and they are two
of my most treasured pieces of clothing. Why? Because they make me look and feel beautiful. They are made to flatter women like me, who are real and three-dimensional and not necessarily skinny.
At the Green Festival this year I bought a pair of your exquisite
chocolate-colored pants, which my friends tell me look stunning
(indeed theydo) and now I would like to order a simple tee in chocolate, size medium, to go with the pants.
So yeah, you are making a difference in the sustainable fashion world. I feel good buying your clothing, and I feel great wearing it. I feel like finally I've found a designer who's working with the real
shape of real women, who's able to combine comfort with style. I
tell everyone who compliments me on my dresses where she can get one of her own. (People are especially impressed by the kangaroo pouch which, by the way, is great for bicycling because if it has anything at all heavy in it it keeps the dress from flying up and exposing myunderwear.) Thank you." ~ Helen |

"My name is Karla Theilen, and I was introduced to Texture clothing at
"Betty's Divine" in Missloula, MT a few years ago. I have the skirt
in 3 colors (getting ready to order my 4th in "eggplant"), the
fingerless gloves, and a couple of tops. On your website, I found
the new zip jacket and LOVE it. A friend of mine took a couple of photos of me and Bandit the dog (in trailer) riding on our local bike path." ~ Karla
